Bleeding Cooling System - Without Nipple!

ok, so now that ive replaced my hoses with some new silicon ones, how do i bleed the system?

NOt sure how, now that i have no bleed nipples...?

 

Anyone advise please

I would loosen the hoses at the highest points and gently remove them till water apeares and then refit them.

Most of the system will bleed itself anyway.

To bleed your system take the cap of the header tank and squeeze the hoses as the car is warming up

the cooling system will self bleed on a 205 gti

Yep, just run it at around 1500 RPM, with the expansion cap removed, for around 4 or 5 minutesw to purge the air

Drive around the block with the cap off.
