Speaker Removal Star Shape Tool?

sorry but im a complete jackass and was wondering what is the name of the screwdriver tool to remove the speakers the like star shape thing are they torque screwdrivers and what size is needed to remove the speakers and casing?

they are sized T5, T10, T15 etc. IIRC speakers are normally T5 or T10.

just go down to halfords and get a torx allen key set cost about 7 quid and you will get all the useful ones :)

dont get the allen key style sets, go to machine mart and get the 1/4 and 1/2 inch drive sets. You have no idea how many times you will be glad of having them owning a french car :)

T40 crops up a lot on these things and T55 if you get a set with it is invaluable for engine work (most heads are fastened with t55's)

make sure you get TX not TS. i've got a small set of 1/4in and a big set (including T55 in 1/2in). i think the speakers use t20/t25. if you get a decent set and a decent screw head and push down 9easier with a rachet) it's very unlikely they'll cam out.

because they're much better. more points to distribute the force applied, hence no more rounded off screw heads. :lol:
