chesney 0 Posted May 27, 2007 I stripped my rear beam (309) and am rebuilding and painting it. I took the torsion bars out and cannot remember which one came from which side. I recall that the yellow rings marked on them indicate which side they go. One has 1 yellow ring and the other has 2. Can anyone advise which is which Or if it doesn't matter

chesney 0 Posted May 28, 2007 Cheers Sonofsam. I had tried a search but it kept coming back as an error. Info from your link : "The torsion bars are sided, The right hand trailing arm is identified with one painted ring where as the left hand one is marked with two rings. If the rings are not evident, mark them up yourself before removal. (thanks to Wurzels guide on main site ). "
