2.2 Hdi Bi-turbo 170

Recommended Posts

Bam

hi folks,

i'm thinking about one thing...i need more power, more torque -less mileage...and two turbo's are a lovely think. :D

i know one user had have boosted up to 260hp/440nm with stock turbo's in his 205 -nice thing, but not enough...

one question:

to wich max power is the bottom end and the head from 407 hdi biturbo good for?

any expirience from dutch or french guys? ;)

cheers mik

I think Lybker is the one to talk to in this case.

Problem with diesels is that there are no aftermarket programmable ECUs available yet. So you'll have to do with reprogramming the existing ECU, which is a pain in the butt. You'd have to transfer most of the dash, loom and BSI box into the 205 to get the stuff working again.

The twin-turbo setup that Lybker uses was by no means with the standard turbo's by the way:

I think Bam is talking about the new 2.2 HDi from Pug that uses 2 turbos straight from the factory. 170bhp and LOTS of torque is it not?

I doubt you can get that engine running properly in a 205...mainly due to the Canbus wiring etc.

can network into 205 = a world of pain! master tech at out old dealer says it is possible to disable most of the modules associated and just run a simplified network, but you need the pug computer to do it
