Greetings!

I have few questions: I am thinking about turbocharging my engine (low pressure boost, say ~0,4bar) and for the time being I'd like to keep it as low-budget as possible. Ok here go the questions

1) Is there any mechanical difference between DKZ and DDZ (apart from injection system) How about camshafts?

2) At what revs does the Solex 1B ECU cut off fuel\ignition. I have revved up to 6800RPM and experienced no cut-off. I don't want to wreck my engine if the limiter doesn't work

3) Will I need to replace pistons, rods to supercharge the engine and keep the durability

4) Literally - will the engine survive ~160HP with no oil spraying the pistons?

5) Any practical hints, ideas, links or places where the necessary equipment can be obtained?

What's a DDZ? I've never heard of that spec. Are you sure it isn't a DFZ?

Yes indeed...a monopoint (Solex Fenix 1B) As far as I can figure it out it's DKZ head and bottom, the only doubts I have are about camshaft. CR is 9,2:1 HP=110 at 6200 RPM, max torque is 155Nm at 3000 RPM

I can put some photos of the underbonnet wiev if ye like :)

I am surprised that none of the DDZ or RFZ were present in P205

So, it seems that nobody can help me?

It looks like British market has not seen monopoint versions of XU5\XU9. I have checked my Haynes British edition and it doesn't say anything about monopoints. I guess these were produced for the German market. Mine is the 1.9 SPI with catalyst converter...

 

Anyway, what are the maximum revs in XU9JAZ (DKZ) engine?
