Edit due to above posts. limit is 3.5- so you're not far from passing. Turn the screw out. Decent testing centre would have done that for you. Yeah they really p*ssed me off actually, also failed me on one of my headlights being slightly of aim and both front rubber brake hoses being corroded although having inspected them I can't see any corrosion?????? Flexis are best to just replace all round with goodridge stuff, not much difference in price. My local place adjust headlights for a fiver if needed. Already bought the front rubber ones, cost me £17 as you say not much more for the Goodrich but I could only find them in a kit for front and back and I only wanted the fronts. Also have phase 2 rear light lenses grafted onto phase one light clusters which is an MOT failure, when I bought the car the guy gave me the old ones 'for the MOT' but I couldn't understand why so chucked them away now having to buy new ones from ECP for £35 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted May 26, 2007 Remove the breather hose thet goes between the intake from the oil filler cap, that could drop your emissions down & its allowed (kinda). Either that or take your car for a good blast & ask them to check the emissions asap when you get to the garage so it is still hot. Leaving the engine running if needed until they do the test.
