Cold Start Fine, Warm Start Iffy

Now i'm finally at a point of getting the 205gti long term project on the road, i'm working through my list of gremlins, and looking for the collective brain to give me some pointers on this one...

car starts a treat from cold, (i.e. first time that day), but thereafter then need to turn-over about 7+ times before it fires, is this normal and is there a fix?

cheers

Dave

My 1.6 GTI has done that all its life, seems to go better if you keep the throttle wide open during start, mind you i'm no expert but it works for me good luck and happy driving

You could replace the ECU with a megasquirt, that would sort it out! ;)

Faulty temp sender? Might think its constantly running cold and be over fuelling
