Nathan 0 Posted May 21, 2007 Are individual cv joints replaceable, or am going to have to replace the complete driveshaft assembly?
edthedrummer 0 Posted May 21, 2007 I've seen CV joints advertised in Demon Tweeks, but i am guessing it would be easier and probably cheaper to replace the hole driveshaft. I need to do this also.
hengti 2 Posted May 21, 2007 they are replaceable but you might struggle to find anyone who sells them seperately for reasonable money; they don't appear to be available from the likes of GSF/ECP - they only do complete driveshafts at £50 a go (IIRC)
edthedrummer 0 Posted May 21, 2007 is that £50 per side? ouch. Does the 1.6gti use the same driveshafts as my turbo diesel?
