DaveK 0 Posted May 20, 2007 Im aware that the 309 setup helps loads on track, but do any of you rally lads use them on gravel? Cant make up my mind as to whether they will be worth the extra cash Cheers, Dave
Anton green 12 1 Cars Posted May 20, 2007 I have them on mine. On slippery wet tarmac (loose surface maybe?) they make the car much more likely to oversteer, with provocation and without. Hope this helps you make up your mind The final decision probably comes down to your driving style?
DaveK 0 Posted May 21, 2007 I dont know my driving style as of yet hehe, the sooner i get out to thrash the better hehe

SPGTi 2 Posted June 1, 2007 Does the Ecosse challenge allow you to use them (I presume it's for the challenge car in your sig.) ? I suppose you really need to find out whether the increased -ve camber is thought to help or not on gravel. Maybe do a search on google for the different setups run between gravel and tarmac on a variety of cars to see whether camber is changed between the 2 surfaces. Or post a question on the challenge forum. Sorry for not being much help. Steve
DaveK 0 Posted June 1, 2007 Yeah its for the challenge, and they are permitted. They will be a good purchase for the tarmac stages but kind of a waste if i only use them for tarmac since there is only 2 or 3 stages on tarmac.
gti_al 1 Posted June 1, 2007 Should be useful... the dirt guys here are having some custom LCAs made up in a quest for neg camber. How much do the 309 ones give? Does someone want to send me over some? We didn't get 309s here...
