Angle Of The Dangle

Recommended Posts

Would it be possible for anyone to measure this. I need to know the approximate angle the that back face (exhaust manifold mating surface) of the head of an Mi16 sits at in relation to the 2-1 part of a 4-2-1 manifold(which I assume is virtually parallel to the ground) in a 205 in the following configurations:

1) Normal length lower engine mount

2) Extended lower engine mount to tilt the engine

Excuse the MS Paint pic.

If anyone can get me one or both of these angles that would be a life saver. I dont know how to suggest making sure the car's flat

Thanks

I have a digital angle measurer and a level workshop floor, but only have a 8v engine so I'm not sure if I can be of help or not????

Wow the perfect kit for the job. I can't remember how the 8v and 16vs compare, probably quite close but really need to be an Mi16.

Cheers though

Ok so the Xus sit at 30 degrees meaning the angle I was after should be 60 degrees.

I have been told the angle on the manifold I am after is approx 55 degrees.

Can someone measure a tilted Mi, if it comes out to 55 degrees then it looks like this ones designed for a tilted Mi.

Worst comes to the worst I can get it tweaked slightly or get some flats put in I suppose.
