5th And Reverse On Be3

i just bought a 1.9 and 5th and reverse are quite hard to locate when lever moved over to right it feels likes it grates along the side like something is there??????

any ideas guys???

put it up on the ramps and go underneith while someone works your gears, that will let u see it ur linkages are fowling anything, when i first got my old 205 the linkages were sloppy and worn it was like stirring porridge, and they were hitting my centre section. try that and see and a new set of linkages never goes a miss.

im prety sure if the linkages are badly worn/adjusted they scrape the exhaust, or if the exhaust is fitted badly, undo the 3 mounts and shift the exhaust over to thediivers side abit (restign on an axle stand) and see if it still does it
