Guest Pugw0t Posted May 15, 2007 So i guess im going to rebuild my 1.6 TT engine in the next week or so.. going to change all gaskets.. piston rings.. check pistons out as have been advised, is there anything else you would change as a rule? and anything to look out for? Banjo 1 Posted May 15, 2007 (edited) Mains, big ends and thrust bearings, oil and water pumps, hone the bores, check liners are round, plus all the usual bits n bobs.
