O/e 106 Cd Player - Losing Radio Code

Hi,

 

I have picked up a Clarion Pug O/E CD Player from e-bay for the Mrs' 1998 106. Installed it (simple swap for the OE cassette/radio) no problems.

 

 

The code that came with the radio works fine, but everytime the ignition is cut the code has to be input again. Is it simply that the new HU needs a constant live feed? Odd, I thought as the original unit has a code and keeps it no problems. Or could it be that I need to press another button to store the code or something?

 

Please help me stop the Mrs' moaning at me to get it sorted!

sounds like a swap the yellow and red wires around job.

Yep, swap the red and yellow wire around on the ISO loom.
