Which Reservior With 406 Master Cylinder

Which fluid reservoir are people using with the 406 master cylinder as id really like to upgrade my old one.

 

If the 406 one can also be used which specific one is it as there are at least 3 different ones !

you can use the old 205 one, but personally I like the 306GTi6 one very much, for the modern and fresh look of it

I'd use the 406 one, Looks better to me but both of them use the retaining clip which is handy, Also you need to you matching rubber inserts as well.

the 406 one sits a different angle, so the cap isn't horizontal and the reservoir can't be filled to the top.

I found my 406 resevoiur was too tall and fouled the bonnet. 306 one works a treat.

If you use a 406 one you'll need to change the wiring loom plug for the level sensor.

Isn't it the same for the 306 one? I thought the cap for 306 res had the same level sensor as the 406, iirc it is on the one I've got downstairs waiting to fit to the 22.2mm mc.

 

Could you use the 205 cap then you wouldn't need to change anything?
