Bias Valve

Recommended Posts

Jrod

Took the car out for a spin this morning and noticed the rear brakes were binding a bit, thought nothing of it really as the cars not been used much recently but after a while it was still doing it. Something made me think maybe it was to do with the bias valve as I adjusted it last time I drove it.

Decreased the pressure to the rear slightly and brakes were totally free.

Just wondered if anyone has any idea why it would do this? It's only on the 2 most open settings it does it.

Double checked and it's in the right way so it's not that....

Little update, turns out the bias valve is faulty as I now have no breaking effot to the rear and i can get no fluid through the valve even after blowing compressed air etc to try and clear it.

Compbrake have agreed to replace it. :)
