lyncho23 3 Posted May 11, 2007 hi my head gasket went the other week so ive taken the head off and noticed that theres a crack on the bottom between the valve and where the spark plug sits? is this totally fu*cked? ive sent it to be skimmed and pressure tested so il see what they come back with but its not looking good daz Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
brianthemagical 1 Posted May 11, 2007 if it looks like it's got a crack then it probs is scrap, post a pick and someone on here will be able to tell you. there not tht expencive, perfect opportunity to get an mi16. don't send it to get stuff done, it's a waste of money at the mo but most good machining places would give the head a once over before they did anywork and if it is scrap they'll no doubt tell you.
