RalliArt 0 Posted May 11, 2007 Hello i have a nice 205 GTI 1.6 XU5JA engine, and i have a problem, and the problem is that in low and middle rpm the engine have a strong acceleration but in higher rpm (around and after 5000rpm) the engine looses acceleration and the revs slowly goes to rev limiter around 6400-6500 rpm . Can you people help me with my problem ....some people tell me that the problem is in the fuel regulator or fuel pump...... PLS HELP Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

PLS HELP Try the Tachometric relay it controls the fuel pump you might also want to check the connections to the fuel pump. Its bolted to the ECU on the drivers side behind the dash.
