Nathan 0 Posted May 10, 2007 My exhuast needs refitting so it sits a bit higher and I also want to get the down changed for something of a slighlty larger diameter (ready for when my turbo goes on). Can anyone recommend somewhere that would do this.I live out in the sticks but don't mind traveling to somewhere like manchester, sheffield, stoke etc.
M@tt 77 Posted May 10, 2007 (edited) I got my reangled downpipe flange TIG welded up by ascar in Sheffield now known as ExhaustsUK.com. However i'd chopped my manifold before hand and had tack welded it in the correct place. Only charged me a tenner cash in hand Its a bit chavvy there tbh but the welding monkey did a good job, but they do all sorts of custom exhausts so might be worth a try (think they are on pimp my ride uk ). They are out by Hallam FM arena if that's any use. Edited May 10, 2007 by M@tt

He does a pretty good job and it obviously doesn't cost as much as 'specialists'.
Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted May 10, 2007 I've heard Silversteel in Leek are good too
