Andrwn8304 0 Posted May 9, 2007 Heres a right puzzler I've spent 4 days trying to figure it and its still got me baffled. Charging rate and Battery Voltage is both ok (new alternator 3 weeks old). Battery (Heavy Duty) has had a high rate discharge test on is spot on. Car idles ok usual idle drop when the lights is on but still idles ok Whilst driving especially at night - Lights on and if you put the heater on the charging light comes on faint and stays on this only happens when you put the heater on its not effected by the heated screen or fog light. But when the lights is and the heater is on and the charging light is on dimly and you indicate the charging light dims even more but between flashes the charging light gets brighter slightly. I've checked the earth straps from Body and Gearbox to battery and even added a extra in from the body to battery but it still comes on. Any ideas? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
