rallyman 0 Posted May 7, 2007 FYI (again) been busy today! It would appear that the brown connector that sits beneth the AFM can give many many different types of gremlins. After re-looming the lot I can happlily say that its alll sorted and well worth it! It may be worth depending on the condition of the plug and sockets to replace all of them in one go! OK all of these colours are from a 89 1.6GTi so they may be different with different models/years. Front part of the loom OIL PRESSURE - Grey/faded purple OIL LIGHT - Purple ALTERNATOR - brown STARTER - thick grey faded purple Rear part of the loom WATER (low/temp) - yellow WATER (low/temp) - red OIL TEMP - white Hope this helps someone out of a hole! I will add picts soon so you can see how bad they get! Cheers Michael
