Twin Headlight Wiring And Spots

Recommended Posts

davepug205

hi all,

ive got my twin headlights in today the ones that replace the indicators aswell,

but done away with the N/S inner lamp and replaced it with ramair induction pipe .

my problem is wiring my lights as the inner was the main beam i now only have side and dip beam on the N/S.

so does anyone know where can i get replacement lamps that use side, dip and main beam in one

or is it a case of different bulbs or joining wires?

p.s i cant post the pics i have saved on my computer as i am generly useless when it comes to a PC lol :(:(

any helps great

cheers guys

bulbs in the standard lamps do dip and high on one bulb then side on the other, not familiar with the lights you have fitted but are does the working lamp have 1 or 2 bulbs in?

If the side light bulb is seperate then take the dip beam bulb out, nip to local motor factors and find a bulb that will fit the existing bulb space but has 3 prongs on the electrical connecter as that will be a dip/high bulb, then just rewire using spade terminals.
