as above, does anyone know the diameter, both internal and external of the pts grp n backbox inlet pipe. thanks.

Inlet of the back back in 48mm internally & 51mm externally.

thanks very much. sorry for messing you about with the exhaust but after searching i decided i wanted a middle box so i'm now trying to work out if the group n back box will fit my (p2) center pipe.

OK, it won't fit the phase 2 centre pipe without work due to the difference in diameters & mounting flanges (olive & sleeve fit).

 

Why do you want a centre box?

i was planning to cut the center pipe down and i kew it would require some form of modification but i wasn't sure if the sizes were close enough.

 

i think that a single box grp n system will be too loud for my daily driver. i had a peco 3in back box on at one point but at cruising speed it was too loud and intrusive.
