GTI6BOY 29 Posted May 6, 2007 Hi, A 1.6 has an offset of 25 A 1.9 has an offset of 19 A CTI has an offset of ? But my cti has 1.9 hubs so does that mean i need et19 for the front and et25 for the rear as i want some new wheels?
petert 587 Posted May 6, 2007 It has 1.6 hubs and rear brakes, so therefore the same. However, anything will fit and they look better with 15-18mm offset.
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted May 8, 2007 Those offsets are the wheels offsets, not the car's or hubs. Graham.
Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted May 9, 2007 It is all proportional to the width of your rim too. My skip runs 7x15 ET25 with 10mm spacers on 1.9 hubs and a 1.9 beam. With 1.6 hubs, I didn't need spacers at the front as they are widers. The 1.6 rear drum beam is also narrower in width than a 1.9 item die to the length of the stub axle / drum assembly.
