Servo To Vacuum Hose Plastic Fitting

Recommended Posts

mos

i know i'm a numptie

but when putting the vacuum hose and its plastic end valve (or whatever the hell its called!) back on the servo on one of my 205s, i have managed to push the rubber seal (that fits on the servo and the plastic part slots into it) actually into the servo!

i phoned the local peugeot dealer and they quoted approx £20 for the seal on its own!!!

is this right? surely even main dealer prices are that cheeky for a small piece of rubber

does anyone have the proper part number and a price?

or was the guy at peugeot actually telling me the truth!

thanks

the seal cannot be ordered separately, but the partnumber of the seal + valve is 4599 15

thanks

i will head down the scrappies and have a look

should be quite easy to find if any peugeot or citroen will do

205's (of any model) at scrappies local to the manchester area are getting increasing hard to find.
