Rob Thomson 6 Posted May 3, 2007 How high does the gauge go when you rev the engine? Does it get higher the more you rev the engine, or does it stabilise at any point? Pug instrumentation is dodgy at the best of times. I'd be inclined to blame the sender or the gauge before condemning the engine. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
brianthemagical 1 Posted May 3, 2007 (edited) try and watch how quickly the light goes out after start up. the malority of cars only have the light so i just watched that. my guage did move though by about two bars. edit: it probs is the sender, mine was, the needle ended up dancing.
