Mad Professor 7 Posted May 3, 2007 The good old joke book states the following. Valve Clearances (Engine Cold) Inlet: 0.15 - 0.25mm Exhaust:: 0.35 - 0.45mm I would like to know what is the minimal safe Valve Clearances you can use on the 205 8v engine. At this point in time I am using. Inlet: 0.15mm Exhaust:: 0.30mm I know there was a post quite some time about this, But I am unable to find it at this time. Thanks For Your Time. Best Regards. Ahl 4 Posted May 3, 2007 Pumaracing says: 0.20-0.25mm on the inlets and 0.30-0.35mm on the exhausts btw. The Pug spec on the exhaust is unnecessarily large IMO and engines run quieter and smoother with my own settings. Hope that helps.
