quagmire 0 Posted May 1, 2007 My local garage just put a new temp sensor on the car to try and stop dodgy idling. It seems to have cured the idle issue but now the car cuts out when up to temperature and wont start until its cooled down for about 15 minutes. Could they have supplied the wrong or dodgy sensor or do I need to do an ecu reset or something?
Richie-Van-GTi 71 2 Cars Posted May 1, 2007 dodgy sender, I had the exact same issue. Best option is to buy a known good one from a member and fit it yourself, very simple to do.
