Moys1.9 0 Posted April 29, 2007 For a while I've heard a knocking sound coming from the front drivers side wheel when going from reverse to stationary to forward. Also happened from forward to reverse. As it didn't seem to be much getting much worse just thought it must be one of the top mounts as I heard these making a knocking sound. This week it started getting worse. It was happening during gear changes and when the car is sat idling it happens almost constantly, persumably cause of the lumpyer vibrations. Is this just the top suspention mount on its last legs or something else. I've just put a new drive shaft in on that part of the car just before it got worse. Any ideas of what to do next cheers.
