How should i be dealing with this? Was thinking just cut some steel to shape, bend it to the same shape and replace the rotten section. Was also going to replace the section between the headlights (below radiator)with a box section.

Would also need to replace the bumper brackets, alot of work

Cheers, Dave

Looks like surface rust in the pic? Get the grinder out and grind it all back so you can see what your dealing with, any holes cut out and weld in new, they always rust there very common.

i was looking at new front panels a while ago, you can get the whole front end on ebay for around 50£ and just weld it on. when you doing this u may uncover a lot more rot on the inner wings too. there was a thread on psooc iirc where some guy repaired the front end on his, maybe some1 knows the link and will repost it.

i have a spare driver side panel new, you can buy each side separatly see.

Have a look at my thread in the projects section. My whole front panel was rotten on both sides along with the inner wings. I cut away all of the rust and there was a lot! before the new complete panel was welded on an sealed up. Jeram did the welding for me and did and excellent job. When i first saw the rust i thought the car was due for the scrapper, but the transformation has been amazing. I got the panels from ebay and they seem to fit very well.

I got mine from cv panels in glasgow for £40 a bit of a distance for you.

If you find a body parts shop in your area that sell hadrian parts then you should be able to get the whole front panel or just the headlight part. Try their website and see if their is a stockest near you,
