Guest Stu@ Posted April 27, 2007 Nearly connected my bx 16v engine up but struggling with the plug that spurs off from the battery terminal..its a big black box and looks like 2 spade terminals connect to it. Can someone please tell me what this is? Also the fat blue wire that goes to the power distribution block at the slam panel - do i just need to swap the spade for a ring terminal and bolt it to? pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted April 28, 2007 No idea about the black box you mention unless its the BX version of the shunt box (power distribution box) but the spade terminal on the fat blue wire should be fitted to on of the spade connections on the shunt box where the original ecu was plugged in.
