clifton 0 Posted April 27, 2007 i had my gearbox swapped over, from a be1 to a be3...and ive put it all back apart from the clutch cable because i dont know to put it back...sounds stupid i know...i had someone look at it but they they said i was missing some rubber thing that goes onto the end of the cable..is this right? if it is what is the part called and does anyone have a part number? this is the clutch cable i have. is it th right one? if it doesnt need this rubber thing how do i fit the cable...pictures would be much appreciated cheers ben Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted May 1, 2007 I've posted a picture of where the outer cable end stop fits into the gearbox before here. The plastic bung by the adjusting nuts fits into the clutch arm. If you can't figure it out from this let me know & I could call round on Friday evening to show you / fit it into the gearbox. Have you done the pedal yet? Graham.
