2052006 10 Posted April 27, 2007 My driver's door trim is not attached in the usual way. Basically I think it is a new door or had a re-skin (so previous owner says) and the trim was just stuck on with that double sided tape. It has no holes for rivets or anything. It fell off and I tried reattaching it with new tape, but it is peeling away again and is p*ssing me off big time. Anyone got any good any good suggestions on who I can attach it once and for all? Went to Peugeot and apparently they dont do the metal clips anymore that are rivetted through the door....not that I have any holes there anyway. ? cheers Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Paintguy 0 Posted April 27, 2007 A PU adhesive sealant like Tigerseal of Sikaflex will do the job, just make sure the area is clean and free of polish. You can either stick it on one night, masking tape it in place temporarily, and leave it to set overnight, or put a small amount of double sided tape on it as well, just to hold it in position til the sealer sets.
