MerlinGTI 3 Posted April 22, 2007 The half leathers in my pug are looking tired (although structurally very good!). The leather is cracked and grenrally worn. I was going to put a couple of buckets in it but the orginals are really comfy! I remember a while back on a ford forum a guy raving about some bottled product he used on his saff that coloured in all the cracks and transormed his seats, anyone used something simular? Baz 421 Posted April 22, 2007 Sounds like boot polish!! I always use a decent leather cleaner then give it a feed, something with the needed oils in etc like the Auto Glym Leather Care is good.

Super Josh 4 Posted April 23, 2007 I've used liquid leather before, with good results. Clicky Josh
sherly 0 Posted April 23, 2007 Yep, liquid leather is good. Have used both the grey (ph1) and the black (ph2) to good effect. I think woolies do a good restorer too. http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-117-leather-renovation.aspx Mart
Richie-Van-GTi 73 2 Cars Posted April 23, 2007 best leather restorers come from equastrian stores. Saddle soap for cleaning and then they do good quality softners to prevent cracking and also a good selection of rub in dyes.
