Fitting A Be3 Box To A Phase 1

Box, cable, thrust bearing and pedal needed- gearstick+ gearknob desirable :) Personally, I'd stick to the be1 for originality and future value- not many ph1 1.9s around

just use the BE1 clutch release fork and clutch, with the be3 box.

If I were going to change to be3, I'd definitely want to do away with the weak clutch arm and pin arrangement of the be1. The be3 box (with it's original be3 arm) needs the matching thrust bearing and the cable is longer internally and will not fit onto the be1 type pedal. I've done this swap a couple of times but TBH didn't realise swapping the arm was a possibility. Changing the stick and knob as the reverse lifter is redundant and, of course, the map is different is just a bit neater.
