Engine Rebuild Number 2

Recommended Posts

max0

My old 1.6 lump has been kicking about and on thursday I borrowed a engine stand of frodomonkey to start the fun and games.. Here are a few pics

Last engine I did was on a work mate or the floor so the engine stand is a god send.

You still got my engine paint? Since jimmy stores loads of crap in your garage do you get a discount on sticking parts in the steam cleaner?

while you're on the topic of engine rebuilding, how the hell do you get an engine onto an engine stand if its complete? it weighs a bloody ton!!! (i'm guessing engine hoist ?)

Im about 10.5 stone n work in IT and i mananged without a engine hoist. It did take a about 30 mins of working out how tho. I wouldnt recomend doing it on your own tho. If its a iron block i wouldnt have even tried.
