Removing Sad

going to remove my SAD and i ve read a few posts on how to to it but wat i dont get is, the pipe that goes to the inlet mainfold gets blocked but what about the coolent pipe on the side of the block do you relink it with the one that comes from the heater?

the sad pipes dont contain coolant,

 

what i have done is remove the sad then put a m12 bolt in the exposes ends and put jubilee clips on, then cable tie the connector up tidy
