throttle is an audi item, yes its a 1.9Mi it will idle fine from start up but as soon as throttle is applied then closed revs drop as per normal but keep dropping to zero as you say. It runs fine everywhere else so would that rule out AFM?

Can the ICV be cleaned in any way? not really had a look at it.

Cheers.

Henry.

well it sorted it self out, now idles again. Bloody peugeots.

Combe went well, 115mph on the bk straight compared to 100mph from the old 8v. Was lapping at about the same speed as some stock hatch boys that were there. Those cars impressed me big time. Really well driven (would always loose me a avon rise and quarry) and they were sitting infront of me at 115mph with there 1.6 8v engines!

Had to have a session red flagged to tow me in, engine just died and i thought the worst. Turned out the HT lead had fallen off the coil, quick swap for a brand new one (be prepared  ) and i was out again much the bemusement of the marshalls.

Was foggy all morning and I had a big off 720 spin with a couple of tank slaps before the spin, so close to the barrier and it really shook me up, didnt enjoy the day untill i started to actually drive the car around 2pm. Car still tends towards understeer despite the moment in the morning. Excessive rear roll as seen despite the 25mm arb. Braking into the bends meant really late braking which was fun, started the day turning into camp at 60mph and ended turning in at 80mph with no throttle. T1-Ss would understeer after 3 laps probably due to high pressures which i didnt adjust all day.

all in all had alot of fun and made it home safe!

the stock cars were saxo and 106, really good little racers for what they are. They were changing front srpings throughout the day, had vans flat beds,, etc.. well prepared. Also run on A048Rs but they did go very well.
