Longfield 0 Posted April 9, 2007 Has anyone had any experiences/know someone who has of these kits?
pugrallye 0 Posted April 9, 2007 Yes, on volkswagens though, if they are the fully adjustable items, then the shocks are actually koni's But as I found with AVO's, shocks good on VW's arent always as good on other vehicles

d-9 0 Posted April 10, 2007 thought they were more like £600 for a set
pugrallye 0 Posted April 11, 2007 could only find the all bells and whistles ones for 205 fitment, but 600 is a damn good price
keith 0 Posted April 11, 2007 my brother has a trade account with FK and can get 10% + off.
benlilly 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Looks like they have updated their site but not finished the Sportline 2 section which has the £600 setup. These were definitely available for 205's last time I checked.
Dj_mini 7 Posted April 11, 2007 I had these on my paxo they were great much better ride than the spring / damper set ups i had before but i would say there more aimed at the style market rather than the race market. The only problem i had was the finish didnt last long on struts / platforms.
pugrallye 0 Posted April 11, 2007 hmmm i was contemplting coil overs, now its a toss up between AST and Gaz, hopefully they are better corrosion protected than FK's
Banjo 1 Posted April 16, 2007 AST's all day long over Gaz.
d-9 0 Posted April 16, 2007 Yeh, they actually have compression damping for starters. Plus they look nicer.
Rippthrough 98 Posted April 17, 2007 Yeh, they actually have compression damping for starters. Plus they look nicer. Not that old chestnut again! Although I go for the AST too if that's the choice.
Longfield 0 Posted April 17, 2007 I know folks rekon Spax on 205's are rubbish, I've found their front's to actually be ok.... so I rekon as a test I'm going to try their more bespoke competition dampers for the rear rather than their off the shelf parts and see how it goes. All I need to do [ so help here please!] is understand the sizes i need. For example - 1. what is the fitting of the damper - it is eye top and bottom, eye top stem bottom that sort of thing. Actually, if someone could please help me select thre right measurements from this site it'd be briliant! Thank you! http://www.silverstonetuning.com/csx.pdf
