jim21070 2 Posted April 6, 2007 Vaseline... Used it for donkeys as an assembly grease in all kinds of situations but any common grease like Castrol LM will do just as well but don't use too much. I prefer Vaseline as it does not make your fingers sticky and horrible like LM grease. It keeps your hands baby-soft too Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
brianthemagical 1 Posted April 6, 2007 thanks. i thought i heard about packing vaseline in to oil pumps but i couldn't find it again. i searched for cam lube and that came up with moly disulphide, which is what i happened to have sitting my shed (castrol ms1). thanks again.
