e30m3 0 Posted April 6, 2007 (edited) I've just had my car running and when i reved it the oil came back up through the oil filler Doh Anyone got any ideas as to what could be the problem? e30m3 0 Posted April 6, 2007 Yeh I think the hoses are fine, they all caome off my old engine which ran ok other than burning a fair bit of oil. I've just done a compression test and is come up as follows 150, 195, 185, 175. Could the problem be caused by a leaking head gasket on piston ring? or does anyone have any other suggestions Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

What i would do now is get a little engine oil in a squirty oil can and just put a little oil in on top of the piston in the cylinder that is down on compression.
