dch1950 37 1 Cars Posted April 4, 2007 Hi, Following on from little rant about Auto5 and as a result of trawling around looking for brake pippe o&s to help with my A5 brakepipes (if I ever get them !) I came across this site called Vehicle Wiring products of Ilkeston Derbyshire. I bought some brake pipe stuff from them (ordered Tues - arrived Today 2nd post) Also got their catalogue which has - as If to take the P as I'd just bought some replacements for £44) a pair of Ring driving lights for ......... £20.80p +p+p for the pair. These will fit the PUG perfectly (55w halogens) Guess I should research a bit more before buying. So if you need to save a bit of the hard earned give them a try. regards Dave
GLPoomobile 958 Posted April 4, 2007 (edited) I've sung their praises a few times on here, as have a few other members. OK, so I haven't exactly bought a huge amount of stuff from them, but their service when I have has been impeccable! OK, so I haven't exactly bought a huge amount of stuff from them, but their service when I have has been impeccable! Sorry if I'm covering old ground - but this firm seems to have got it just right for those quirky odds and sods that you definitely will not not get at UR local PUG dealer, and They're not bonkers expensive. This appeals to me straight away. I will also add that I am a new member and have drilled down one of the pinned threads about "Big Valves" - bloody hell you guys take it a bit serious....! Good stuff though and I always knew that my rocket engine technology course would come in handy some day. (Gas and liquid flows through venturii - for the puma racing guys) regards Dave

Dream Weaver 2 Posted April 10, 2007 I know they have a website, but you cant order off there, and I can't be arsed ringing them to place an order - I would've spent hundreds with them by now if you could order from the site

Sometimes I just can't be bothered phoning companies because you inevitably get hold off some in-bred mong and a simple enquiry can become a blood pressure raising experience. However, you shouldn't be put off phoning VWP because they are a pleasure to deal with. OK, you may not get through immediately if the line is engaged, but in my experience, once they answer it's far easier to place an order than it often is with many on-line systems

Praises here aswell, every time i order stuff off them i seem to get a little more than i paid for, cable for instance never seems to be by the metre but is always a little longer
