DaveK 0 Posted April 3, 2007 (edited) Since my brake and fuel lines need to go inside the car ive, hopefully, decided on everything i will need to buy: Copper pipe, 3/16" 25ft Brake spanners, unsure of sizes? Flaring kit, Machine mart jobbie Braided lines to replace rubber sections, considering just buying the lengths and making self Union connections, 10mm and 12mm, male and female? Cable holder things Gromets to go between bulkhead/bootfloor Lots of Patience Anyone able to fill in any blanks? welshpug 1,657 Posted April 3, 2007 a hacksaw and a fine file to cut the copper pipe, and a thin cutting disc on an angle grinder to cut the braided hose (neatest way of cutting it) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

205007 12 Posted April 3, 2007 (edited) this job is really easy i pissed it on my car and ive never made them before! you wont need 25 m of copper unless you are running dual lines to the rear which isnt necessary just get a t piece from peugeot or brakepipe.co.uk you get a cutter in the machine mart kit which is good so dont use a butchers hacksaw the neatest way to cut braided hosing is a chisel and hammer and a good thwack i got my aeroquip hoses from shenpar and it was about 50 quid for a 1900 setup, best kit ive used far better than goodridge !
