Rear Strut Bracing

hi all

 

been browsing for a rear brace. can anyone shed some light on the subject. do they exist, are they needed, does it involve welding????? :wacko:

 

also, looking at ordering a front top brace. do they make a good difference? any to get or stay away from?

Nope they don't exist, 'cause you don't have any rear struts.

came across that pic when searchin' also found a few other weired and wonderful bars welded across he back some where.

 

so the general oppinion is that there not needed?? or just no one makes any thing to fit any where???

 

ARBs for the underneith???

They are not needed as the 205 doesn't have rear struts, strut braces are to stop the struts flexing during cornering but that is impossible in a 205.

 

The only reason anyone would have one is for show.

it already has an ARB (you cant see it, its inside the beam tube) the front upper braces are good, i bought one for £15 quid second hand and is one of the best VFM things i have done to the car.

The rear strut braces do exsist yes, but why? who knows!!!!
