pugit666 2 Posted March 30, 2007 on my 1.9 coil there is a wire marked 3A which goes to the coil and comes off it again. the spade connectoer is just dangling and i can't find out what its for or where it goes. I've just put in the mi 1.9 engine on blackbird carbs and it wont start. there is a spark and fuel but won't fire up. just wanted to rule this wire out. This wire is a normal spare that all 205 GTi's with a coil mounted inlet have & it does nothing except for checking the coil is getting 12v easily if needed. Graham.
