When I Finish Plumbing In Hydraulic Handbrake

Recommended Posts

Anton green

When I finish plumbing in hydraulic handbrake I take it I shall not want the compensators in there before the rear calipers, as this would only serve to make the H-handbrake useless?

Considering I am running 285mm oversize front discs, I believe the system would be fairly safe without the compensators compared to the standard front-rear bias ratio set up from Peugeot. What do you think?

(I have read all the thread about compensators BTW!

Yep should be fine, plumb in a bias valve too for good measure, then you can dial it out to what you like, and for dry/wet conditions too. :)

You should be safe without a compensator, but it's probably best to have an adjustable valve just in case...

Obviously any compensator or bias valve should be between the master cylinder and the hydraulic handbrake, not between the handbrake and the brakes.
