Guest Lucky-Strike Posted March 29, 2007 Hello i was tuning my engine yesterday . while i'm at 1.2 BAR boost the head gasket was burned between cylinder 2-3 there is a stronger gasket for this engine from another type? like 1.9 diesel or HDI? thanks! Graham. i'm not going to boost at 1.2 bar, maximum 1 bar so i dont think that i need special gasket. the gasket from DW10TD could not be fitted? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Spesso make high quality MLS head gasket that will stand the boost pressures better than a normal gasket. the gasket from DW10TD could not be fitted? I'm not sure of the bore & stroke of the DW10TD diesels but if they are 86mm the head gasket is very likely the same one as fitted to the XU10J2CTE. They are on the XU9's. Graham.
