One question-Why the need for the lowered engine, surely thats going to put a bit of strain on CV joints?

 

The bonnet won't close otherwise....Certainly hits the air filter, and I'm pretty sure that it actually hits the TB's.

 

We had the same issue on a Mi with Dellorto's

is that the only mount you space, or do you do it on the others too?

I've spaced out the gearbox mount as well but i've not done anything with the lower mount yet which i would imagine will be under a fair bit more stress now. I seen petert's post about lowering the engine and seen he had cut and re-welded the lower mount. Might need to look into this!
