Front Arb For 205 Rallycar - 17mm Or 21mm?

Has anyone got any practical experience or ideas on which front ARB to run?

 

It is a 205 running PTS 225lb fronts with Bilstein tarmac shocks with 309 wishbones.

 

Rear is a 309 beam with tarmac shocks, but I have a pair of 21.5mm torsion bars to go on.

 

It is a tarmac car, but we all know just how rough tarmac can be!

 

I currently have a 21mm bar but have a 17mm I can put on.

I've removed the front ARB now, I find traction and turn in better without it with stiffer front springs.

Quite a personal taste this one, Some people like none other's like at least 21mm, Only thing to do is try all the different combo's and see which one you like best

I like the thicker ARB personally for track use

I might start off with the 21mm (as it is the only one I have bushes for!) then order some 17mm and try them some point in the future.

 

The car isn't finished yet, just trying to get everything together ready.
