DirtyFlare 0 Posted March 23, 2007 My car doesnt cold start at all, so i finally bit the bullet and went down to peugeot to find out how much a new sad (supplementry air device) would set me back. Well after about 10 minutes of trying to explain to the parts man what it actually was and no it wasnt just a random electrical sensor he kept trying to tell me it was I took him to my car to show where it is located, although not very easy to see as it lives under the AFM so that wasnt too helpful Anyway, he now knew where it was located and went clicking on his computer and brought up some random parts i never knew exsisted! But we finally found it, woohoo! But it isnt know as a SAD it is known as an "air housing" wtf? Any way what you clicked this topic for.. A new SAD will set you back £
Ahl 4 Posted March 23, 2007 £118, crivens. I wonder if thats only at that dealership though. Sometimes they seem to pluck prices out of midair.
sherly 0 Posted March 23, 2007 I've been quoted a similar price to that at a dealer. Get a good used one!
sonofsam 5 Posted March 24, 2007 Holy cow, for that price I would be so bold as to say, fit Motronic and rid the sad forever.
Gibbo GTI 0 Posted March 24, 2007 The dealer by me wanted £118 for a SAD, NEAT's charge £80 + vat + delivery.
lagonda 42 Posted March 27, 2007 It's a Bosch made (not Peugeot) part, so it might be cheaper from a Bosch fuel injection shop. Did you realise it's adjustable? Adjusted mine & it works fine.
