Rik 0 Posted March 21, 2007 (edited) Ordered all my suspension bit and bobs the other day, and am a bit stumped exactly where the part number 5174 03 fits? Its a foam type ring. See the below page for the parts catalogue (Number 6) http://www.stuartmcguire.co.uk/pug/GB/205F/5/51E01A.HTM I cant really tell from the above picture where the parts go or what they do. And here i have a pic of them in there bag... BIG PIC Can anyone tell me what they do? Rik Edited March 21, 2007 by Rik
205turbo 32 2 Cars Posted March 21, 2007 looks like the arb seals, I'm sure Anthony will confirm this.
M@tt 77 Posted March 21, 2007 yes they are the arb seals, they prevent water/crap getting into the inside of the beam tube via the trailing shafts centres by sealing the gap between the traling arm and the arb end plates.
Rik 0 Posted March 22, 2007 so theres two seals really? the black rubbers (5172 24) that fit over the end of the arb end caps, and these? Rik

Rik You can say that, even though afaik the main function of the black ones are not watersealing, but acting as a bush for the ARB so it won't wiggle around in the tube.
